Rahab saved her entire family by placing her faith in God. Although she was known for prostitution she desired to be cleansed by God. Rahab sincere desire to be a daughter of God compelled her to provide a safe haven for the soldiers sent as spies by Joshua into Jericho. Her deed toward the soldiers of Joshua was the true turning point for her deliverance and also the deliverance for her entire family. She not only received true deliverance by God but also received her husband, which was one of the spies named Salmon. She also became a mother of Boaz and her entire family was saved from the destruction of Jericho all due to her love for God.
